I can't say anything more wonderful than these nerds already have, but what sticks out when I read this is that you've already come out about what's confusing to you to so many people. And I don't know how that went (hopefully good), but I have a good strong feeling that you'll have a much happier time doing the thing where you be yourself now that you've established to everyone that that's what's going to happen.
