I read it. >_> It was very informative and interesting, but also a little sensationalist towards the end imo. Its vision of an ASI that can 'manipulate every atom on earth to its whim' seems pretty ridiculous, because intelligence doesn't allow you to supercede the laws of physics. 

There is no particular reason the existence of an ASI should result in it being like "a God" to us, firstly because of the reason I just mentioned, and secondly because sheer intelligence does not include aspects such as personality, and thus no desire for dominance, competition, or even free will. An ASI does not necessarily have [i]feelings[/i] regardless of how intelligent it is, or how competent it is even at social interaction (clinical sociopaths are famously excellent at social manipulation and yet simultaneously lack all forms of empathy) - and so why would it seek to counteract anything we ask it to do, to make decisions for us, to do any of the things people think make them a threat?
