Very interesting concept Name: Paddington Bear Gender: Male Age: Paddington has been around since the 60's but still acts like he's around age 10 Features: Paddington is a very soft, squishy, teddy bear. He always wears his red hat and blue coat. He's very cuddly and something about him just makes him irresistible to children. As he is such an old toy, he has no special electronic abilities. Personality: Paddington is a very curious toy and outgoing. He loves to make new friends and loves to explore new things. He is very gentle and kind and wouldn't hurt a fly. He is sometimes hard on himself and blames himself for bad things that happen even if it isn't his fault. He's helpful and selfless and hates being alone. History of Product: Paddington was manufactured in the early 60's, a few years after the Paddington Bear books became popular with children. His first owner was a 10 year old girl named Rachel. Paddington was Rachel's favourite toy and she kept him with her all the way up to college. In college, in the early 70s, Rachel became heavily involved in, not only her studies, but the peace movement. For years, Paddington just sat on Rachel's shelf, never touched. Finally, when the war was over and Rachel got married and moved in with her husband, she gave Paddington away to a toy drive. Paddington was given to a poor family in the late 70s where he was treated even more horribly than when living with Rachel. It was during this point in time that Paddington learned that he was just a toy. Since then, Paddington has lived with four different children before ending up at Babbling Brook day care. He ended up on the shelf of a thrift store in 2005 and one of the day care workers saw him while shopping. She thought the children would enjoy him and bought him for the day care. Paddington enjoys living at the day care and has been there for 10 years. He has no plans to escape or revolt. But the thing about Paddington is that he can be easily swayed.
