You also forget that sometimes there are time differences between posts. I tried to make it seem like michael got the message before everything went to complete hell, and, technically hermes is a spirit for both of them-being a messenger spirit. 

I could also say that no way in hell should it be possible for nero to work a spell that fast, that gabriel didn't have even a chance to stop it. But hey, I let it go. Despite the fact that is a little god modding-i would have let the attack hit if given the chance but you made it so that it just hit.
