I'm not too interested in buying packs myself, but I was planning to obtain more cards during the RP either way, so...

As for banning archetypes... it's kind of tricky, because while I'm sure we can all agree that Burning Abyss and Nekroz deserve to burn in hell, other archetypes are... more controversial, to say the least. Maybe with a soft-lock or an agreement to not run cards at certain numbers, things could work, but I'd imagine we'd run into problems with, say, a flat "no Blackwings" clause.
