Actually I found it really good, but only AFTER you got to construct your own deck and get into the late game. Early game? Yeah it can be tedious, but like most games you need to fight your way to at least mid game to make a good judgment. 

I'd say Post-Avengers if I ever did it, yet Pre-Avengers would also work since it gives Pepper a lot of emotions related to Steve constantly jumping into insane battles and she can't help him, so she's all sad about seeing him go and such. People fucking die man. Imagine a situation where Pepper was somewhere in New York during the attack and Steve couldn't find her. Oh noooo~ :C
