Why was she here again? That was the common refrain in Lumiere's mind as she followed the other 'Warriors of Light', the poor schmucks roped into this, towards the city center where they would meet with the King for this ceremony. This was not the place to be, and especially no for someone who had previously taken such joy in robbing from the subjects of the person she was to meet. Nope, not at all. And yet in spite of that, here she was anyway. But no, here she was, walking with a slight sway in her step as she wore some incredibly stereotypical and bland black robes, as had been required of her by this position. And the moment she was out of here, they were going in the garbage where they belonged. No self respecting thief would be caught wearing stuff like this. And as one, she would know. That was the real reason that she was here, for a golden opportunity. It was not often that one got close enough to the King to steal from him, and she was not about to waste it. But she kept her calm as they met up, shaking hands and giving warm greetings. As far as anyone else knew she was simply a relatively good looking woman, a bit noble but hardly in the upper echelons of the aristocracy. She didn't need that kind of attention. When the greetings were over, the ceremony began, and Lumiere watched with developing emotions at the boring parts quickly became less boring, as the orb flickered and flared, pouring energy into the air while the others remained. She hardly needed her instincts to tell that this was bad, but even that was an understatement as a cry arose, the sound of violence and bloodshed as the imps emerged, attacking everything in sight in massive numbers. "This is not good," she muttered to herself as she felt for the trusty dagger she wore, not exactly for show at that. She wasn't about to fight a horde like that, but better to have some protection than nothing. She just had to lose this getup, and she would be good. There wasn't much time to worry about that though as the King ordered them to get going, and she sighed as she agreed. It seemed that stealing was out of the picture for the moment, but this sort of thing would do just fine. And she didn't need any urging to get going, when the alternative was getting killed out here by imps. "Well, are you boys coming," she asked with a smirk before moving off, only to find Imps almost immediately there. The dagger came out, blade glimmering in the firelight, and she stood ready in a combat position as she waited for them to attack. Fighting them all alone wasn't viable, so if they could give her an opening to slip past, that would be great. It seemed things had gotten interesting.
