Kami's stance was firm, and he would not budge from this chosen view. Many would peg Kami as a warrior. But he was also a tactician, and he knew very well that a peaceful solution was best. In order to stave of the powers of vampirism, all of humanity would need to unite under one flag. Anything less would pale before the coming storm. [Ved, you are hereby named Warleader of the Purge. The threat to the Pope of Flames was completely ignored. Should Hive seek to eliminate the Pope, they would find themselves hardpressed to escape alive. After all, the Pope was nothing more than a puppet for the true leader of the Purge. A mouthpiece, a martyr, and bait. If either Hive or the vampires struck at the Pope, their actions would lead to their own demise. Of course, Kami was also well aware that Hive had no motive to work against the Purge. They were an organization that was almost as adamantly opposed to the supernatural as the Purge was, and their recent actions were uncharacteristically hostile. After Freelancer was disbanded, Kami would make a point of once more befriending Hive. They had less power in America, but their connections and presence in other countries was significantly greater than that of the Purge.
