Though appearing a little shut in at first, Devon is a pretty friendly fella. He may be hardened a bit by the life in the wastes, but at heart he is empathic and caring. 
He sometimes takes things a wee bit too serious, despite being able to be a bit snarky at times himself. Though it needs to be said that sarcasm is not something he employs very often.

[b]Extra:[/b] Courtney started out as a doctor in one of the cities, but later also traveled to farms when needed, which led to her realizing that there was so much more out there than she realized. 
She knows a fair bit about nature, vegetation and stuff like that, though less about actually surviving in it.
Both her parents were doctors as well. She also has an older brother who runs a bar. 
She has met a lot of colleagues in various places and as there are not a whole lot of doctors and/or biologists that dare venturing into the wastes, she is likely to know any that they come across, even if it's just superficially.

It wasn't exactly a well paying job, so he turned to doing other things that needed doing, mostly running errands, and that eventually led him here, after about a year of traveling between cities and making a bit of a name for himself.
