Through the halls, past the rats, the smell grew ever stronger. Feces seemed to drown out even the burning smell. However, it was a fairly straight-forward passage down. Several steps occasionally plateauing where small treasure chests lay. The bottom was not too far down either. It seemed that whatever rats were underneath had already made it to the top where they had drowned out and burned, scurrying around like mad or staying still. At the very end, a single stone door which appeared to be easily pushed open with a bit of force applied.
