Kuhaku Shiro - Mathematics Class ->
His head hurt. Shiro was huddled over his assignment, furrowed brow creased in intense focus. His teeth gritted as he struggled to make sense of the equations in front of him. It was a drastic leap, at least to him, coming from Signal. Sure, he did just fine with basic mathematical concepts but wasn't there supposed to be a gradual increase in difficulty? He felt as if he was just tossed to the sharks. "This isn't AP Mathematics, is it?" He hrmm'ed. Sighing, he was just about to turn to Gren to ask for his friend's assistance when the music happened. Looking up and around at the class he too, like Abel, attempted to pinpoint the source but he quickly discovered that the source of the music came from outside. At first, the sound didn't disturb Shiro. However, the volume quickly grew to increasing levels and Shiro found himself cringing in pain. The bass of the music didn't help his headache whatsoever. Shutting one eye, Shiro noticed that a few students to include the teacher got up to investigate and even leave the classroom. Poor Emerald, she and a few other faunus were in the same boat. At least, the ones with keener hearing. "Aghhh!" Pinning them back and flattening them, he cupped his gloved hands over his feline ears to maybe block out some of the sound. It helped, but only some. Looking out to the exit, he was curious to investigate the source of the noise too. But if it was giving him this many problems, he could only imagine how it would be at the epicenter of the racket. A lightbulb dinged! in his mind as he got an idea. A bright look on his face as his tail curled and coiled. He could use this chance to make it back to his dorm to put away his...'things'. Hide it behind some excuse to grab some ear protection before nosying around. Gathering his belongings, he tried his best to move quickly and block out the cacophony. Just as he was getting up to leave, he halted in his tracks as some handsome blond gentleman approached him. Hands cupping his silvery-white ears, he frowned as he tilted his head. The gentleman looked familiar, but he couldn't quite place who he was exactly. The young man was speaking to him, and although his voice was muffled and drowned out partially by what sounded like music, Shiro caught enough of what was said. "OH, UHH...HI! NICE TO MEET YOU..." What did he say his name was? "RAVIOLI FORD LATTE?" Close enough. The gentleman made some comment about Shiro's sparring match. "THANKS, I GUESS? LOOK, I CAN'T REALLY HEAR VERY WELL RIGHT NOW. I'M GONNA RUN BACK TO MY ROOM AND GET SOME HEARING PROTECTION OR SOMETHING. ONCE I HAVE MY HEARING BACK, WE CAN CONTINUE TALKING. SEE YOU AROUND! " Shiro said, rather loudly. Trying to have his voice heard above the din. Just in case the gentleman couldn't quite hear him, Shiro pointed a finger at his furry ears. Hoping that would get the message across clearly. To any regular human, the music probably sounded like some concert that was taking place off in the distance. But to Shiro and his kin, the noise was killer. "BYE!" he briefly waved at the blond. Shiro turned to Gren and tapped his shoulder, gave an absent nod, and bounced. Taking advantage of the situation to take care of some personal business. He didn't have it in him to burst down the hallways on all fours, so he continued onward with a sort of brisk powerwalk/jog. His bag and his combined weapons in their 'Transport' mode slung on his back. His gloved hands still cupped over his head, Shiro noticed other students and faculty members moving past him towards the commotion. His curiosity nagged at him as he looked over his shoulder. "Gotta hurry so I can see what's up." He thought as he faced forward.
