Emmy felt some relief when Diamond's hat covered her ears, it was doing a far better job than her hands. She found her hands covering her human ears instead, the noise was still annoying, but now at least it didn't feel like she was going to pass out from the noise. 

Diamond was saying something to her, but she could not hear a thing she was saying whatsoever. She looked at Diamond with confusion, trying her best to read her lips.

"What was that?!" She yelled, "I can't understand Diamond! It's too loud!" her face made a frown. "Why are you looking at me like that!? I didn't do this! My semblance is controlling the wind! I can't make music!"
