Candice silently walked with Mars and Mayor Coss to the temple, worried for Mars considering that he hadn't spoken a word along the way. She realized that she had lost her mask briefly when she answered Mars' question and the General's berating and warnings echoed in her mind as they continued on their way to the temple. 

"[i]Oh, stop your pathetic crying Agent! 

You're a spy, a hero of this great nation! 

Heroes do not ever show their emotions, their weaknesses to their enemies! 

Forgetting this simple fact will get you killed. 

Besides, death is part of the job, Agent. 

You knew that going in,[/i]"

Despite the memories of her father's words, she sincerely hoped that she didn't hurt him. She was prepared to explain the situation regarding fighting to Mars, but now wasn't the appropriate time. 

Soon enough, they reached the temple, and she saw that Bloodstone was with Aquamarine. Her unemotional mask hardened as she thought to herself, thinking that the fact that Bloodstone and Aquamarine were in the same proximity like this...they just had to be working with each other! Before she could continue that train of thought, Mars had shouted in pain before going up to Bloodstone angrily, with glowing eyes. She widened her eyes in surprise when he seemed to speak Bloodstone's name as if he knew him, despite the fact that he didn't recognize Bloodstone back at the Kindergarten. She listened as Mars asked his questions, the world weary voice reappeared again much to her hidden shock. After snapping out of her shock, she saw Mars fall to the ground, tripping on his own legs, and she hurried to his side to kneel down next to him in concern, calling out his name in concern "Mars!" 

She looked to Aquamarine at the very moment she uttered a single name. Tiger...who was that? She glared at Bloodstone briefly before she turned her attention back to Aquamarine who came closer and pressed her glowing hands against his head. After hearing Aquamarine's instructions, she placed her hand on Mars' shoulder and she told him, hoping to help in bringing him back to the present moment, "Mars...you can ask them your questions about being a gem. About your abilities and fusions..."

After a long while of following two sets of footprints in the dirt, one set being smaller than the other's, an elegant woman with dark red hair and a reddish-orange skin tone, finally reached Mohs Town. She looked around with a small smile on her face, hidden behind a normal dark blue fan, decorated with white stars and a crescent moon on it. The woman seemed to wear a kimono with a butterfly obi. As she walked through the town, many of the townspeople stared starstruck. As she walked, she mumbled to herself, with a smile playing on her face, "Hmmm...Ah wonder if there are any other gems nearby?"

She kept wandering through the town until she finally came upon a destroyed area, with an exhausted person stumbling around. After he had fallen over, she approached the young man, and she offered her delicate hand and she asked "Excuse me, Dahling. But are you alright? Let me help you up,"
