[b]The Story So Far…[/b]
In recent days, a seemingly random group of individuals has emerged with what can only be described as “special” abilities. Although unaware of it now, these individuals will not only save the world, but change it forever. This transformation from ordinary to extraordinary will not occur overnight.

A Brave New World was born when Claire Bennet, a teenage girl from Odessa, Texas revealed to the world her abilities. Since that day, more and more extraordinary people have stepped forward to reveal themselves. Known as EVO’S, for a while these people were loved but soon as with all things, humans began to fear what they could not understand. Hunted for being different, the EVO’s went into hiding and had all but disappeared from the public eye. As quickly as they had appeared in our world, they had vanished.

In the years since the revelation that EVO’s exist, the governments of the world have formed various agencies and companies to “bag and tag” as many EVO’s as they could. Once such evolved human they bagged was Ron Emerson, a lonely drifter who had the unique ability to see the future, unfortunately the side effect of his precognition was that with every new premonition, Ron would lose another memory. Captured and held by the Greystone Company, Ron had all but lost his mind before his final premonition;

With his final word, Ron’s mind was overwhelmed and he died. Seconds later, the sky went black…an eclipse…this wasn’t supposed to happen…

[b]The Setting:[/b]
As you can probably guess, this rp is based around the ground breaking tv show Heroes. This is more a character driven story that focuses on the world of ordinary people who suddenly find themselves with extra-ordinary abilities. Following a similar path to the first season of the show, our characters would be from around the globe but over time will be drawn to the same place via various methods in order to either change or fulfil Ron’s prophecy. Not all characters have to have powers, others could be agents looking to bag and tag or even just friendly humans looking to help.

So here’s how it works. This is more open world, free roam than anything else. The idea is to build this massive world and experience the idea of ordinary men and women actually having powers. The reactions will be real and believable. That said as stated above, there is an overarching plot which will become more apparent over time.

This is an OC rp so no characters related to canon’s because that just leads to a mess. Canons, i.e HRG, Peter Petrelli etc do exist but they are not currently involved in the rp, so any references to them should only be made in passing and nothing serious unless it’s part of a character arc that has been confirmed with the GM’s, so in that case either message me or Izzy to find out where that particular character is. 

Timeline wise, the rp is set in present day within I guess my interpretation of the Heroes universe.  This new eclipse only occurred roughly three months ago in game so most characters will only have a certain degree of control or knowledge about their power (some may not even know about it yet!).
