[@Loony] Ugh I don't know, I know you don't want to leave Gilles out but if he wouldn't leave Emerald maybe he should stay there for the time being.  Someone is going to come looking for Emerald eventually, not least of all because they need his vote, so you could have Gilles wait for the action to come to him.
