Kiara Kiara could only stare, in a strange mixture of surprise and relief, as Geko was abruptly tackled by Omari. Who was babbling about mommy and daddy and all sorts of craziness. The pale girl neatly sidestepped the tackle hug, and just tilted her head like a confused puppy. She had fully expected some sort of pain to result from challenging Geko, and now all she had was confusion. Not that she was complaining all that much. She turned to stare accusingly at Eric, her shadow returning to his normal place attached to her feet. "You did that." Eric shrugged, unapologetically. "You could have gotten him killed! It does matter! I'm not that important! So what if he wasn't? The fact is he could have and it would have been my fault for not keeping you in check!" Kiara paused in the midst of her scolding, hearing the Chrono speak in a dangerous tone. Her head whipped to look at the Chrono, and she took a small step back. Kiara liked to think she was many things, foolish being one of them. She was not, however, stupid. As the Chrono continued to speak, Kiara's foot etched a sigil into the ground, finishing it just as Julie had her break down. A swell of earth rose and grabbed Kiara, stabilizing her from the shrieking winds and rocking earth. Safe in her cocoon of dirt, raised from the ground, Kiara could only watch in some awe as Julie threw her fit. Carefully, she released herself from her earthen cocoon and gently got to her feet. Looking around at the devastation, she idly brushed her clothing free of dirt. "Uh...Remind me to not piss off a Chrono." Maeve Maeve's thoughts, as she was critiqued and mocked by Joux, went something along the lines of this. Shit. Shit. Shitshitshitshit. He knows. He knows what I'm doing and it's not going to work. Nonetheless, she continued with her attack. It was already to late, and she could merely continue on her course. She merely scowled as Joux deflected all her attacks with his small coin, and then neatly deflected the girl she had just kissed, knocking her on her ass. The Celtic woman didn't bother attacking again, listening to Joux as she scowled. She walked carefully towards Alistair, not trusting Joux, blood still dripping down her arms and hands. She had forgotten about them, truth be told, used to the pain as she was now. Sighing she ran a hand through her hair, streaking blood on her forehead and through her hair. "Where do we begin?"
