That...looks cool as hell.
Well, it is chuuni, either you take it too serious and enjoy it or lean back and enjoy it...or you just do not like the genre :c. Here is a vndb.org link to that Visual Novel And here one to the prequel of the one above There is also a wiki for some updates, but you get way more information from the Beast Lair Fortissimo Topic, in case you don't know that site it is basically where all the Type-Moon fanboys meet. If you actually wanna give it a read, this one is the channel who has a translated youtube series of it. But keep in mind it gets really silly! Kind of a (mild) spoiler in regards to one endboss fight for example:
Like, there are two main characters. One has the ability to revert all phenomenas up to 24 hours ago(Da Capo). The other one has the ability to choose the future he desires, rendering any kind of defense impossible against his attack because he just chooses the one where the defense fails(Nothung). Now, the big bad was immortal since 12 years or so, so the two protagonists combine their power to this: Using Nothungs power the selected future upon the big bad being hit was 'big bad being hit 24 hours prior to actually being hit' this "future" repeated itself over and over again and reverted the big bad to a state where he was not immortal, which ultimately allowed the two to defeat him :^). That is the video with a explanation better than mine, maybe.
Of course, dodging lightning speed lasers that judge your sins and take your senses away or Saber Alter are in there too! The novel is literally a Grail War, kind of. But still a nice read even with the (big) grammar errors in the translation. I think I fanboyed enough ...time to sleep.
