Personality: Being from Eastern Europe, Petra is naturally on the colder side. Smiles are a rare commodity and laughs are even rarer. She speaks only when she feels it's necessary and has little patience for nonsense. Her temper is somewhere in the middle; she knows not to snap over petty things but will not let others walk all over her and will not tolerate people wasting her time. She is rough around the edges and will not lie for your benefit. She will call things as she sees them. She is usually independent and will not ask for help unless she truly needs it.

Bio: Petra grew up in former Czechoslovakia in the 70's and 80's. Political turmoil quickly became an ideal that she was familiar with. Her father and mother ran a small business that both her and her brother helped run, while trying to distract themselves from what was going on around them. In 1991, with the ending of the cold war, both Petra and her brother saw this as an opportunity to get out of Europe and go to America, "land of opportunity". However, they had little means of getting there and their parents refused to leave their country. Later on in 1992, Petra learned that a friend of the family had been able to make it to America. After contacting him, a man who was five year older than her, she agreed to marry him in order for her to get to America. Once in America and married, she was able to bring her brother over as well. Their parents stuck by their word and never left, what had become, the Czech Republic. Petra lived with her husband, despite their lack of common interests, until the outbreak. Her husband worked in construction while Petra made as much money as she could by tailoring clothing. The couple was never able to have children. During the chaos of the outbreak, Petra and her husband became separated in a crowd of panicking people and he was later discovered to be bitten. Since his death, Petra has been traveling alone. 

Job Before The Outbreak: Part time seamstress/tailor

Disability/Fear: Obviously, she is an older woman so her body cannot take injury as well as someone with a younger body. She finds it hard to feel sympathy for others, and is apathetic a lot of the time. Not really a people person.

Weapon of Choice: melee weapons such as long knives and blunt trauma objects. Also wouldn't mind carrying a gun.
