Ethnic: Japanese Personality: Hana is uncaring and brooding. She has little faith in what people can do. Despite this, she can impart words of wisdom because of her experience at a church. Something in her mind is preventing her from committing suicide or needlessly walking to her death. She is aware that whatever is in her mind is something that she can't let out, which is why she chose death as the only path that she has to take. She is also constantly tired due to her insomnia.
Hana was abandoned before she could remember. At the door of the church in the middle of nowhere. Hana was left there. A single nun came out and took the child in. The child had scars. Nobody knew why the child was like that. Her mouth seemed to have been cut and burned. The priest couldn't do anything to help. The scars had long since replaced the wounds. The priest and the small nunnery took her in. That was the only place she could go. Not many people came into the church. It was too far away from any city or village. Only souls lead astray would come in. People who had lost their way and done something horrible. The priest would speak with whoever came in. The person would leave with their heart relieved, knowing that they could fix what they had done wrong. For her entire life Hana worked with the nuns. She cleaned the church and rang the bell. Her life was simple. She didn't want anything else, but it had to end by the hand of people who were beyond redemption. A group of criminals drove by, demanding the church to be a den that housed their illicit wares. The priest and the nunnery denied them becoming a drug den vehemently. Threats came in. The priest and the nunnery weren't afraid. They came at night and burned everything to the ground. Hana was the only one who could escape. Police cars came and went. Ambulances took the bodies away. Hana, being an adult at this time, was given a few hours to sort things out before they would take her in for questioning. Not a single tear came out. It wasn't as if Hana wasn't sad about this. She was too devastated to cry. She was in enough shock that she couldn't even move. The police came and picked her up. They questioned her. Hana couldn't speak. They didn't let her go until a few hours later, where they found a journal about Hana and what had happened. Within the journal was a single Polaroid photo of the church. With nowhere to go, the police sent Hana to live with an old couple for a few months so she could get back on her feet. Hana was inconsolable. For months, she would do nothing except for stay alive. She couldn't even sleep because of the nightmares she had gotten from the ordeal. One night, the tired Hana managed to sleep. She had awoken in Aurora, without any knowledge of what was happening.
Goal/Desires: Hana simply wants to die. Powers:

The Devourer

Hana can devour any item/object, so long it is soft (for now). If the object is poisonous, she won't be affected by the poison. As she devours more, her appetite increases. The bigger her appetite is, the harder the substance she can eat. This appetite also has an effect on her mind. As her appetite grows, there becomes a point where she can't control her appetite. This begins her transformation into The Monstrosity. The Monstrosity would be like an Eldritch abomination, but wouldn't drive people to insanity. They'd just feel as if something was wrong with her.

[s]The Change[/s]

As Hana gains the ability to eat durable non-food objects (such as metal), she can change her body into using different resources. An example would be her flesh turning from squishy-human-bits to a hardened chitin. Oddly enough, if she manages to eat a Scion (which doesn't sound delicious), she would be able to turn into a Scion herself. Though, this is temporary and she only gains a slight strength increase (still a fraction of a Scion's power). It does make for a good disguise, though.

[s]The Monstrosity[/s]

The Monstrosity is an evolving monster that gains the traits of whatever it eats. The Monstrosity is what prevents Hana from dying before it awakens. So far, its power and appearance is unknown.

The Survivor

Whenever Hana is close to death or unconscious and in danger, The Monstrosity takes over Hana's mind. During this state, Hana becomes much stronger and harder to kill. She'll only care about herself, and will actively try to kill anyone who comes close to her.

Equipment/Inventory: Hana was able to only bring rags that she uses as a cloak, some (albeit terrible) clothes and an old Polaroid photo of a church.
