[@Guardian Angel Haruki] Yeah, that's probably why.  And I don't really know, it's possible.  Maybe 'temple' was just the best word they had for it, but they serve a purpose that's only similar to what temples are for on Earth.  Also, since some of the art in the temples appears to be of Rose Quartz' deeds, Homeworld may not have been the ones who put them there.

[@Akayaofthemoon] That makes a lot of sense.  I think that's also a really big part of why Pearl loved Rose so much, even depended on her.  Rose may have been the first person to really see Pearl as 'Pearl' and not "Pearl #3423527" or whatever.
