Whether Takeshi was fully into seeing Shu again didn't much matter, he couldn't turn away Shu the way he was now. That... And with the little guy throwing himself onto the older boy it wasn't much like he was going anywhere. Swallowing back unease he smiled slightly at his brother, chuckling as he patted Shu's head. "Uh... Well no reason to be scared anymore, we're all safe, and... I'm here," he said, glancing up uncertainly at the others before nodding in appreciation to Yumi, turning his attention back to Shu again. "That's good, I'm glad to hear that. Now uh... I can help too." Not that he had the faintest idea how he'd do that, he only seemed capable of messing things up for people. He couldn't even help his only brother, and now for the second time today he felt awful for his inadequacy. Grabbing a hold of his sibling, Takeshi got back up to his feet, gritting his teeth as he strained his shoulder before re-positioning the kid to make it comfortable. "So... Um... Are they being nice to you here buddy? No one's forcing anything on you?" "If you're suggesting I'm prone to be too focused on minimal details then you're mistaken. I only prioritize efficiency, that's it." He wanted things done quickly and effectively, he failed to see what was so bad about that. Scooping out another helping of mortar he began to slather it along the tops of the bricks, making certain that no spot on the brick was too thick or too thin. Hearing Viral call him a perfectionist again made Vegeta's face flush, straightening out the first brick that was set down while trying to play it off. "I am not a perfectionist, and I dislike that term. It makes me sound.. Anal..." he said disdainfully, making certain the bricks aligned perfectly before... Oh gods, he really was a perfectionist wasn't he? Scowling at the realization he shook his head, grabbing the next brick and placing it down, his face growing even redder when he realized he hadn't put down mortar yet. "And you are not an animal throwing dirt. If you wished to do this part then you would do a fine job as well, I'm certain of it." Hmph, he was not a perfectionist. Looking at the wall as Viral placed down the next brick he let out a sigh of annoyance, spotting one of the bricks that wasn't flush with the others. Placing the tool down he placed a hand on the brick, easing it back into place meticulously. If they were going to work for these people then they had best be certain to do an acceptable job.
