As eerie as the house was, Nathan couldn't deny a surge of adrenaline snake through his body as he tried to consider all of the other pokemon and people that had once called the decaying ruins, a home. He thought about the wonders and history they were standing in but he also couldn't forget that Cori needed to get to a Pokemon Center soon, as did their client's son, Jaspor. His own mind had to be tethered to their goal as opposed to the indecipherable past they were stuck in at the moment. The pair worked their way through the first floor, trying to be as efficient but still careful, as possible. Nathan was glad they hadn't split up, aware that if they fell into some kind of trouble, again, they would need one another's help to stay safe, let alone keep their head on their shoulders. Despite what they advertised, their work was dangerous and risky. Nathan and Cori had their share of injuries and death scares but it all meant helping othe people, and for that, he was happy to deal with some certain occupational hazards. And even though his friend was pretty uncomfortable and in some pain, he knew she would agree with him too. By the time they had come to the final room on the first floor, Nathan was already thinking of going back out to meet up with his trusted pokemon but when Cori called out, he knew it would be useless since they had finally found the boy named Jaspor. A massive tidal wave of relief washed over the boy and his expression brightened up considerably. "Thank goodness we found you, we've been looking for you." He said. Cori then spoke up and mentioned how it was the boy's mother who had contacted them. Giving a nod which went unseen by Jaspor, Nathan hurried to where Cori was and peered down the hole. "Oh boy..." He wasn't sure how they were going to get the boy up but COri was quick to think to use her spritzee to heal him up so he'd be safe to teleport back to a suitable Pokemon Center. He thought they could attach Jaspor to golbat with rope or maybe use golem to lift him up. Maybe even Cori's claydol could do something to get them out without falling into the house's many pitfalls or traps. "Come on." He nodded to Cori and looked back to the frightened boy. "We will be right down, we'll just take a slower route than you did." He laughed slightly and nodded back to the door where they had come from. A new rush was now folowing through the boy's body. They had found their target! Now all they had to do was get him safe and collect their payment. Then there'd be loads of sweets to savor back home. Licking his lips, Nathan headed for the exit. "I don't recall us seeing stairs going down. I have a feeling the entrance to the cellar or basement -- whatever you want to call it, must be outside." He told the girl as he whistled for his pokemon and within ten seconds, it came rushing back. "Hey buddy, we found Jaspor, thanks for looking though." He said and held up the pokeball and in a quick thread of light, the flying pokemon was back in its pokeball, safe and sound. Nathan jogged around the side of the house and saw a wooden opening with rusted handles. He tried to pull it open but couldn't. "Why don't we use your vaporeon to ice to handle and bust it open? Then we'll get golem to carry the boy out we can teleport to the Aquacorde Town Pokemon Center where his mom is waiting." He smiled. It sounded like a fair plan to him and like another happy ending to what could have been a long day. Even though Cori hadn't had such a good encounter, it could have been worse and he was glad that for once, things were going the way they ought to be. For a while, they had a string of bad luck and false clients but he was hoping this would put them back on the track like when they first started the SCS. He looked back at the woods around them and began to wonder if they'd be able to expand their team, add more people and maybe even go to other distant regions. Of course Nathan picked a poor chance to daydream but the green haired boy couldn't help it. He wanted to indulge in the ambitious and not ignore such thrilling ideas.
