After the end of their struggle, her father was crowned king of a small territory and married her mother during the feast that marked their quest's end. Happiness came fast to them, when it was known that Ciel's mother was pregnant, but it was easily followed by a bitterweet feeling when she passed away while giving birth. Nevertheless, the people of the kingdom were overjoyed to know that the princess was born safe and sound and her father made his best to raise her properly.

Tragedy followed yet again when Ciel's father went on an expedition to quell a remant of whatever evil was it that he fought in his days past and perished by the enemy's hand. It didn't took long for the kingdom to dissolve into a sea of Chaos and Ciel was secretly sent ot the home of a an old friend to be spared of what fate might have waited her.
