Akio was quick to arrive, as her text had stated, so Tsukiko couldn't complain too much. She had never particularly liked kids, but having known Akio for almost Akio's entire life she had a bit of a soft spot for the girl and thus a much higher tolerance for her. The young girl immediately expressed her distaste of the weather upon arrival. "The rain is just a hindrance, no big deal," Tsukiko stepped out from under the awning and into the rain. Her parka did a good job at keeping dry. She noticed quickly that Akio had brought a bag with her, likely packed with survival gear or perhaps food. A scoff escaped Tsukiko as she passed Akio. "One day you'll have to learn to be completely self-sufficient," Tsukiko remarked. Akio likely would notice that Tsukiko wasn't bringing any kind of bag with her at all. She only had her regular gear, minus the spear. She had completely intended to find food and water in the wild during the trip. "It might be raining where we're going, so you know. I decided that I need a pelt from a Giant Tiger, and they live in jungles. Rains kinda often, ya know." Tsukiko had no way of knowing for sure what the weather was so far away, but she wouldn't be surprised if it was raining there too. "You might be disappointed." Without any warning, Tsukiko leapt up onto the adjacent building, scaling the wall until she was on the roof. From there it was quick and easy to traverse Konoha, unrestricted by civilians or obstructions. Jumping across buildings was much faster than running on the ground. Downtown didn't have much variety in the height of the buildings too, so it didn't take long for the small party to reach one of the main gates. As Tsukiko landed and approached the gate, the guards there looked to her in expectation. Most shinobi provide a reason for leaving after all. Instead they only received Tsukiko's middle finger as she walked past. One of them clearly wanted to stop her and demand her reason for leaving, but he restrained himself from trying. Tsukiko Umene wasn't a person that made life easy, and it simply wasn't worth the shitstorm that would come from getting in her way. What with the instability from yesterday's coup, and the knowledge that Tsukiko was close with the new leaders, it didn't seem wise to stop her and Akio. "Hope you did your business, because we aren't stopping until I say so..."

Shin Maru, Topaz

The meeting had started off calm and collected, but it was clearly descending into an emotionally charged and heated atmosphere. Primarily from the actions and words of a few teenagers. Shin looked concerned with what was going on, but Kaito on the other hand seemed more annoyed than anything else. The situation was getting out of hand, and it was time for the iron grip. Kaito's fist slammed against the table, making a loud bang to silence the room and draw attention. "That is enough foolery," he said simply as he retracted his fist and used his hand to prop up his head instead. "I did not come here to handle petty squabbling between children, nor to let it drag the adults down. The subject at hand is the Choko siblings, not trivial disputes." From behind his glasses his gaze focused on Daiki first and then Yamato, giving them both a disappointed look. After a few seconds of this he looked around the others at the table. "The 11th Corps boy is not here to defend this meeting, he is here to report the contents of it to Fujitora," Kaito said simply, giving a passing glance to Saburo in the corner. "There should be no need for any defending. This meeting will remain civil." Kaito glanced up at Shin, giving him a nod. This was to confirm that Shin may be needed in order to keep the police. Not only did Shin have legal authority, but he was also a healthy young shinobi that could probably physically throw out anyone that becomes too unruly if it is required. And now he was on standby, practically waiting for any order. "Despite the fancy words and clever tongue, the ultimate goal of this meeting is to decide whether or not we overthrow Ayame and Fujitora. There will be no more distractions from the meeting, as this topic is far more important than personal problems." Now Kaito redirected his gaze to the Hyuugas, specifically Iwao. "As with most shinobi in this room, I have spent most my life dealing with ugly things that nobody likes to talk about. I am aware of the presence of foreign shinobi, but that does not mean I will use comforting words to accommodate them. I deal with certainties and facts, and the facts aren't always pretty." Now he relented his gaze to address everyone in the room. "Overall, it seems that the majority of us have come to the conclusion that acting against the Choko siblings is an unwise move. It puts Konoha at a greater risk. The lesser of two evils is to cooperate and ensure our survival. Feeling and emotions must be put aside for the greater good. We have already failed to protect Konoha from being taken over by foreigners, but we can protect it from collapsing completely. Is there anyone who still, somehow, feels the need to go against the Choko?"
