[@Willy Vereb] I mean, you could have your supersuits if you wanted them, and you could arm all your guards with them. There are just several problems: A) Your average guard, even in the elite-er PMCs, are not going to take this and be completely serious about it. Trouble will be caused when you turn your guards into walking supersoldiers. B) Your average guard, even in the elite-er PMCs, could be bribed. All that tech and crap that goes into these suits could easily be taken, repurposed, and then used against you in the future. C) They'd be insanely expensive. I mean, one of these for every single ship in your trading fleet would be mind-bogglingly expensive. Not as expensive as a ship, but hey, we've ('Murica, that is) have the biggest and most expensive military in the world, and yet we couldn't realistically station a squad of soldiers on every one of our ships. D) Your guards might get hyped up on the suits, and decide to take whatever they want from you. E) If you deploy countermeasures, such as only getting clearance and access to pilot these things in an emergency or during training, then they won't be able to respond as quickly, and as a corporation, your combat effectiveness in the event of a raid would be severely hindered In other words- You should count on the support of the nations you're trading with. Sure, these would make great guards, but putting all your guards in them would be needlessly expensive (You're a corporation- you live to make money, not waste it, eh?), and unrealistic. And difficult to keep all under control. Your guards are fine, but in the big picture, you should really count on the nation you're within to protect you.
