Keep your crummy hands off my teammates!” Isshum yelled as he burst forwards and slammed a flaming fist into a inattentive rock monster, his flames licked through its crusty shell, crackling loudly inside. With a pull, he yanked his arm from the monster’s insides and watched as it crumbled into lifeless stone. It blended well with the mountainous, cliff-side terrain. He shook his gloved hand of the dark dust, glanced at his fighting comrades, and grinned challenging towards the hoard of golems that scuttled towards him. Still unsure on how he had bumped into the aggressive mob, Isshum had decided to take the incident in stride. After all, it was their mission to take out some walking mountain, so the crawling boulders had to have meant they were close. “Huh?” he wondered, taking note of the gravelly, crumbling steps of the heavy-footed monsters. “Ah! So you want more of the Wild Brilliance! Bring it on you club-footed blockheads!” Launching back from them, he found himself near the edge of a craggy, grass-dotted ledge. Even still, he smirked with confidence. “Fuck yea, I’m going to make this spectacular!” He clenched in his stomach and curled his arms tightly as his fist flared and sparked to life. His flames resembled the brightly flickering life of a lit firework but burned a crimson hue. He had expected the hoard to charge him but for several moments, they just stood still. Isshum raised his brow thuggishly, taking a step forwards. As he did the earth tremored beneath him. The hell was that? he thought, staring at the earth and stomping again. Nothing happened. Well, he hadn’t created that tremor. When he motioned backwards and twisted his lip in contemplation, the tremor shook the ground again. This time, he found his balance was thrown off. “W-What the hell!” he barked, looking for his teammates. Was this one of their doing? They knew how he hated sudden movements. He was so caught up in his own thoughts that he missed the harmonious, rumbling of the golems kneeling in front of him. When he caught the whiff of freshly uprooted earth from behind him, Isshum turned and first noticed a hand-shaped shadow blotting out the sun. Realizing that it was actually a gray-stoned hand, Isshum tightened his posture, brought his arms around himself, and winced in preparation to get squashed. The moments ticked by slowly. He didn’t feel crushed or bloody, so he peeked his surroundings. Noticing long stones the size of magical-buses between him, he felt a surge of energy hype him. His instincts drove him to grasping onto its craggy index finger, his hand fitting inside its crevices. "I call dibs on the big guy!" “You’re mines now you bastard! I’m gon----I’m gonnaaa. Wreck … ya?” Isshum felt bile bubble in his gut, the earth spun in his vision with a might twirl. It took only a second for the nausea to immobilize him, it took all he had to hold on to the finger and keep from falling hundreds of feet to his death. Broken sentences rained down from the king golemn’s hand, faintly reaching the others on the cliff. “Viii! Hel- Blarrghh. Help me!”
