[@Grey Star][@Rin]
Chloe Richards - Forests on Gorlock
This... this wasn't right. Not on any level, not in any way. She could accept a certain level of oddities, a small amount of downright ludicrous happenings, but there were limits even to how much she could deal with before things just became too much for her. She had just been to the blacksmith in town--she still felt lucky that they even had someone like that in Newcastle--to collect the sword she had requested a few weeks back; an Ulfberht sword, engraved with a series of norse runes on them, and made to be fit for live practice--even sharpened. She still had the sword in its scabbard held in her hand, but that was about it. That is, if one did not count her yoga pants, running shoes, and tank top exposing the better part of her stomach; all that she wore during training. The area she had arrived in was more or less exactly what she would have expected the Amazonas to be like, or maybe something similar to that. It was green--that much was obvious--and also full of life. No, teeming with life. She couldn't see much when she first appeared, but she could most definitely hear it. "This isn't right," she muttered, looking around and almost missing the two other women near her, since the strange deer-like creature seemed to be the center of attention. She grimaced at its strange, humanoid face, finding it more than just a little creepy. "This is so COOL!" It was one of the other women who made the outburst, seemingly enthusiastic about their current whereabouts. If she had to make a guess she'd assume that whoever this one was, she was used to suddenly being teleported to random places, that may or may not be on earth. "I wouldn't exactly call this cool, miss, it's--" She caught movement in the corner of her eye, twisting around and drawing her sword out of its scabbard, holding it at the ready as the deer landed. Though it made by movement to be aggressive, she kept the sword out. Just in case he... it... decides to do anything. For all of its strange behaviour and looks, it seemed friendly at least. It regarded the wheelchair bound girl intensely for a short moment before it turned towards her and the "Excited One". Her grip around the sword tightened, muscles flexing as they prepared to perform movements ingrained into their very fibre. It seemed, however, that the deer had no ill intent in mind, instead seeming content with only rubbing against her and The Excited One briefly. She lowered her sword, relaxing her muscles, but still kept it out of its sheath. She wasn't too fond of suddenly being in a completely new world, and no amount of friendly, human-faced animals were going to make her think otherwise. "They seem friendly," she muttered out loud, noting how multitudes of different animals started appearing from all over the place. Every kind of beast and critter she had heard before now presented themselves in all their otherworldly glory and, if Chloe had any say in it, weirdness. She glanced towards the Excited One, then the one in the wheelchair. "Asagami, was it? I'm Chloe... Do any of you two have any idea where we are? And for that matter, how we got here?" She slowly sheathed her sword, glancing around with a mix of curiosity and apprehension, now that the residents had proven themselves to be docile, or at the very least not hostile.
