I think at this point, it would've been better to say that your fleet was actually making contact, rather than setting it up in the future. 

It's a little annoying how it seems that most people post an introduction post that essentially says, "Okay, I'm here, someone talk to me," but practically everyone does that, so it's like all the people in the market making a stall, and then staring across the pathway at each other, waiting for someone [i]else[/i] to come to their stall, before going to someone else's.

I mean, not to point you out specifically, but there are two civilizations that have posted a somewhat open-ended bit, mine more so, and the third 'civilization' just decided to jump onto my planet cause of reasons. So you, number four, left yours also very vague, allowing anyone to say they spotted foreign ships. 

And it's been like this with pretty much all the interstellar nation adventures.

Also, where's the ancient peoples stuff? Is there going to be a random semi-active decaying ship jumping randomly into the middle of a battle, or broadcasting an FTL message that manages to reach multiple civilizations from a far away point?
