[@WilsonTurner] I suppose I have 3 main reasons why my post is so open ended. The first one being so that anyone can choose to have me as their contact. I'm not the kind of person that likes to state things as absolute in an RP. I try to always allow the other person to respond or at least agree with me beforehand before I put a major event in motion using them. In first contact this translates to an open invitation. Whoever wants to make contact can choose to do so. I won't force it on someone who may not want me involved. This leads to my second point. You and Raidne are already in contact to an extent. Therefore I didn't want to force you into another contact if you wanted to focus on hers for now. Additionally, Duck's post didn't leave much room for me to make contact as he didn't meet anyone or send out a scout fleet or something. As for my third reason, my post is almost a direct copy from my first post in Stardust where my nation is the exact same. Edited to remove a stardust specific event, but still. I know you aren't annoyed at me specifically, and if this post seems a bit aggressive that is not my intention. I know it's not that great when everyone does this, but the point of open first posts is not to be a major event, it's to set up your nation and open up possibilities for others to respond. That's why it's become a universal part of this type of RP. I have no problems at all with multiple IC posts by the same user in a row, not even somewhat short ones, if they are all important. I only consider unimportant IC posts that do absolutely nothing to be spamming. Also, ancients typically are used as a means of similar tech and language structures and don't usually still survive. If we take Roa'marii lore into full account, we could be considered an ancient evil that wiped out entire civilizations just because, but that's a big maybe, and Roa'marii tech wouldn't be laying around to this day either.
