Jackson Jones & Nefertari

Jackson had finished his breakfast at Husker's and got up from his seated position, leaving a twenty dollar bill on the table then walking up to the counter. "It was excellent as always, everyone. See you next time." He waved them all goodbye then exited Husker's. 'Hm.' He thought to himself as it has been awhile since he visited the morgue and might as well make a trip there. With the shrug of his shoulders, Jackson glanced at his wristwatch at the time then got inside of his vehicle and drove over towards the morgue, which was a decent drive from Husker's. Upon entering the parking lot of the morgue, Jackson felt a pull of lifeless bodies come over him. It seemed like things were going to be busy for Neffy, a cute nickname for Nefertari, soon as he could just feel it. He waltzed right on into the morgue like he owned the place and asked to speak to Nefertari. Of course, hating to wait, he just went and looked her, himself. "Neffy!" He called out as his voice was soft and delicate, at times but when he yelled, it roared like a lion protecting his pride. Jackson waited until Neffy made herself visible to him before asking. "Anything new for me?" He'd raise a slight brow while his piercing stare eyed her for a moment. Nefertari looked at Jackson and sighed, adjusting the glasses on her brow. "Mr. Jones... to what do I own the pleasure?" She asked, walking out of one of the rooms, the one that held the bodies being prepped for funerals. She paused. "Anything new for you? Hmmm... mostly just clean up, but that paperwork should be on the way to you. Or someone. Or V. I'm never sure where it goes," she said and looked over the younger vampire. "Is there anything else I can do for you today? The dead arn't going to get up and prep themselves, y'know," she said with a chuckle, taking off her glasses and tucking them into her pocket. Jackson eyed Neffy as she made herself appear before him now. He mentally licked his lips as he eyed her. "Yeah, I been got the papers." Jackson replied as he stepped behind the counter but one of Neffy's assistants stopped him. Jackson raised a brow at them then smiled. "Sweetheart, do you not know who I am?" The little girl shrugged her shoulders as Jackson chuckled with a nod of his head and reached, snapping her neck then stepping over her. "Sorry, Neffy, she asked for it." Jackson pleaded a bit while responding to her question. "Yeah, I know. I am looking for a body..." He paused as he walked closer to her now with a smirk. "Or maybe I just came to see you." Jackson's chest almost met hers until he walked past her, walking around the morgue now. Nefertari growled as Jackson snapped her assistants neck. "Hey! You can't come into my morgue and just do that! Great... she was one of the competent ones too," she said and looked at Jackson and crossed her arms over her chest. Her eyes flashed red at Jackson, letting him know that she was was very displeased by his actions. "So if you came to see me, you know we have these things called cell phones right? I'm pretty sure you could have called to give me a head up. I would have made some time," she said. "And if you did come here looking for a body, give me a name, and I can look it up. Provided you're not going to leave me more bodies to put on my list. I do have plans later, for once," she said and sighed. "And apparently now I'm going to be late since I'm going to have to deal with my assistants sudden lack of pulse, no thanks to you," she spat out bitterly, glowering at Jackson. Jackson knew that he had made Nefertari mad but it served her right for breaking his heart a few centuries back. They were in love and did everything together until someone, Nefertari, didn't want to continue their love and dumped Jackson just like he was a sack of potatoes. Hearing her words brought back the old Jackson - A bit sinister and demonic. Different nature might do him some good around these parts of town. "You know, you talk a lot of game, Neffy but never do anything about it." Jackson smirked after those words then sort of back her up against a nearby wall. "You know, I do miss you. Even though you did dump me." He leaned in for a kiss but stopped halfway, just enough for her to feel his hot breath against her lips. "Neffy, come on, let's be together again. We shall prevail and dominate again." Jackson turned to look at Nefertari with a small smile. "What do you say?" He asked of her then raised a brow up towards her. "Just because you've forgotten what it was like once to be human, doesn't mean I have Jackson. You forget why I did break up with you. Especially after what you did to those children," Nefertari growled at Jackson. "Besides, I know how you love. I'm not interested in sharing that bed. Again," she said. "And honestly, if you're still mad about that break up, you sure haven't been acting like that recently. Like I don't know about how you've been eyeing the boy at Husker's. Or that girl from the other week," she said, easily shoving aside the younger vampire. "Besides, domination with you means I have to be your slave too. Not interested," she said and narrowed her eyes. "Now, honestly, if that is all you came here for, then get the hell out. I'll be requesting that V send someone else to manage the morgue paperwork if you're going to be such an asshole." Jackson eyed Nefertari as she spoke about why she broke up with him. "Hey, those children had it coming and you know it." He snapped while pointing his index finger at her then heard her growl. "My bed is always shareable for you." Jackson winked towards her then scoffed when she mentioned Levi from Husker's or Jasmyn from the Voodoo Shop two weeks ago. She always knew how to tear him down just when he was getting back up. "It'll be better this time, Neffy." He tried to plead towards her then heard her say asshole. Jackson eyed Nefertari as he walked closer to her again, whispering in her ear. "I will have you again." He then punched the filing cabinet and kicked her assistant's lifeless body before making his exit. "If you need me, you know where to reach me." Jackson finally left the morgue and got inside of his car, throwing small punches into the steering wheel before cranking up the engine and driving away.
