Right, Phantom did some measuring using a [url=http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/rwby/images/b/b2/Morebeaconconcepts.png/revision/latest?cb=20131030060230]concept art[/url] of the dorms in RWBY, and this is what we have determined for the purpose of the RP. You may decorate your dorms however you like, within reason, using this information. If you wanted to. 

Dorms are 13ft deep, 24ft long and 12ft high with a 6ft window. Door is in middle of wall, window is opposite. Beds default form is singles, but legs clip together and pins slot in to make them bunkbeds. Pins are sitting on a desk when the teams first walk in. Standard practise after the RWBY incident the previous year. Four beds (standard size, 7’ by 4’ wide) and four desks (2’ by 3’6” wide) are provided with the room, plus simple desk chairs.

On either side of the room are two walk in robes, with doors opening into the room and able to be opened or closed from inside the robes. Each runs the depth of the room, and are lined on both sides with shallow drawers and shelves. Standing room is 2' wide. There is a full length mirror at either end of the robes.
