WIP
Name: Kenth Felian. Species: Nautolan. Age: 28. Gender: Male. Faction: Jedi Order Rank: Jedi Knight Captive? Yes.
Appearance:
Kenth's appearance is fairly typical of the Nautolan species: light green skin, a head full of tentacly appendages and a large, black eye. The real difference is the fact that more than half of Kenth's body has been replaced by cybernetics. His mouth and lower jaw, left eye, right arm, right side of his chest and both of his legs are completely artificial. They are crude, black metal pieces, grafted into his body during emergency surgery. Kenth's vox-unit electronically generates speech with a flat, emotionless voice, making him sound permanently sarcastic. His cybneretic left eye is too small for the large Nautolan socket, giving that side of his face a skull-like appearance; a small, red light peering out of a large, dark socket.
Notable Characteristics of Species:
Using his original, right eye, Kenth can see much better in total darkness than most other species. The aquatic Nautolan normally live deep beneath the ocean surface and their large eyes evolved specifically for low-light environments. Kenth can breathe underwater and the head-tresses that sprout from the back of his skull aid him in detecting pheromones and give him an enhanced sense of smell.
Flaws:
The cybernetics that make up most of Kenth's body are crude, old and mismatched. Kenth was horrifically maimed and almost killed and emergency surgery was required to save his life and get him up and running as fast as possible. As such, there was no time for sophisticated methods and tailor-made prosthetics. The cybernetics have been practically welded into the rest of his remaining tissue, and can't be replaced by better parts -- doing so would permanently damage his nerves. The result is that Kenth is functionally a cripple. Sure, he can walk, talk, pick up and manipulate objects, but compared to the physicality he had before his injuries, he is a shadow of his former self. Lightsaber combat is very difficult and dangerous for him and if he overexerts himself, the cybernetics have a tendency to seize up and jam. Bitterness and resentment over what happened to him, and disappointment in himself, are dark clouds that hang over Kenth. He reacts poorly to people taking pity on him and will pretend at all times that there is nothing wrong.
