While Dan had never played Splatoon he had seen enough commercials for the game to recognize the tentacle-haired people as Inklings. Judging by her introduction this Evelixis girl was in the boat as them but she just rubbed Dan the wrong way. It was probably the throne it seemed fit for a queen, and his Noir half had some serious issues with Queens. What made it worse was her black outfit, she really reminded of the one person Jack hated more than anyone else: The Black Queen. It took him a lot of effort not to draw his sword, but as long as no one made him any angrier he thought he could stay in control of himself.
