Well, less modern looking than that but I get what you mean. XD Hmmm... Maybe if the island was bigger than Iceland, and the southernmost parts of it were [i]relatively [/i]warm compared to the rest of it?  By which I mean still pretty cold but not as bad as the rest of it, and it would only be a small part of it that was like that... Hmmmm.

I do rather like the idea of making the dark elves vaguely norse, though.  It's pretty cool, and would help differentiate them from the Roman high elves.

Anyways... Anyone else have any thoughts on this?  Or anything else to contribute?
