This is how I've always been. I rarely read stuff that applies to me or my characters unless I have the free time. It does make reactions a lot more realistic.

At one point I had a whole RP based around the concept and it worked wonders.

If I get the time I will, though if you don't want me if I don't tell me now.

I'm not saying I'm going to metagame. As I said above I just like it, makes the surprise a lot more genuine. It's just the way I like to RP if I get the time I will.
