Leander was beginning to feel more and more tired as the endless trek continued on, what with the dry air and the uncertain ashy terrain. Leander was making an effort to keep his footing, so as to not slip and fall. Fortunately, he had his magic staff to rely on and lean upon should his feet fail him. Speaking of magic, one of the group members began to exhibit unusual properties of which Leander was sure she didn't have before. Regardless, Leander continued on, unfazed by the experience. Another member of the group offered some water, which the others refused. Leander reached out for it and grabbed the flask, saying, "I'll take some, thanks." Taking a mouthful, Leander slowly swallowed the water bit by bit while handing the flask back to Ryneld.
