Kumogakure - Morning

~So it's a hunter mission~, Hanawa thought to herself after listening to the briefing given by Genmyou, nodding once and straightening up. She turned to regard the exit, following Manami out. turning she shut the office door, only to turn back finding the girl in her face. Her eyes widened a bit and her right hand jerked up, fingers stiffening, turning her hand into a blade out of instinct. As rapidly has her hand had moved those scant inches, her conscious mind caught up with her body and subconscious. She wasn't under attack. Not here in the hallway. She relaxed as the girl began to jabber rapidly in a way that might have been described as over-caffeinated or at least overly cheerful. A morning person? Maybe. As she offered her hand, Hanawa regarded her warily with her dark eyes, only to reach out and take the proffered hand, now that she had, momentarily seemed to run out of words. "Yes, Hanawa is my given name," she replied. The woman's grip was firm, quick, . Her mind wound over the brief barrage of words and came back to the word equipped. She tilted her yes, her brows lowereing and eys narrowing some as her lower lip poked out in the slightest hint of what might have been a frown or a pout. ~Equipped? I'm ... not really. I just have my spear.~ She paused for a second in hear head. Unless Minami was referring to her body. She blushed some then. She was fit, and well formed, especially filling out in the last few years but she wouldn't consider herself terribly ... 'equipped', as some might put it. ~Is she flirting with me?~ After a moment, she realized she still had ahold of Minami's hand, longer than was really needed, but enough to feel the quality of her skin, and the nature of her touch, and vice versa. She let go softly and nodded. "Pleasure to meet you," she replied, not sure exactly now in what way she meant it, or even if she did. Was Manami going to get on her nerves for this mission, she wondered. Perhaps she would make a new friend out of this, or even someone she could rely on in a pinch. Of course, Minami had a reputation of sorts, but Hanawa hadn't paid it much attention if any. Instead, she'd focused her time elsewhere. "Truth be told, I wasn't expecting to be dispatched just yet," she added, gesturing for Manami to come with her, heading for the steps that would take them down and out of the building. "I'd go back to my place and get the rest of my gear, but whatever we need we can pick up at the outpost. Have you used the back doors much?"
