Name: Theros Leonin Alias/Nickname: Theros of The Way Age: 110 Race: Fae - Gæians

Theros is of a particular breed of Fae known as Gæia. Gæians are commonly mistaken for monsters such as lycanthropes. Gæian is actually the collective term for a group of species sharing both animal and humanoid characteristics; centaurs and Minotaurs fall into this category. Due to the wide range of species, people generally give Gæians in general a wide berth, as while some species are more docile and civilized, others are violent and akin to monsters. Subhuman and Beast-man are often used as derogatory terms to refer to Gæians. Most breeds of Gæians live to around 200-400 years, though the vast majority of breeds mature into adulthood around 15-20. and it is rare to see a Gæian live past 150.
Personality: Typically calm and collected, Theros is mature and reasonable under most circumstances. Rather orderly and somewhat strict, Theros prefers structure and organization to haphazardness and acting on the spur of the moment. Strong willed, and somewhat hardheaded, Theros is often blunt, but not cruel or callous. Expressive and commanding, but not tyrannical, Theros has no issue taking the initiative and portrays many leadership qualities. Stalwart in the face of adversity, Theros isn't easily intimidated and welcomes challenges as a opportunity to better himself. Brave, but fiercely prideful, Theros isn't easy to anger, but is easily susceptible to pricks against his pride and character. A worldly man, and a bit of a cynic, despite possessing a well developed moral compass, Theros will often ignore morality and act in what he believes are in the best interest of himself and his compatriots. Biography/history: Hailing from the eastern Plains of Irith, Theros was born the second son to the leader of one of the various nomadic Gæian clans. As the son of a Clan leader, Theros lived a rigid childhood, a constant circle of travelling, training, and learning - all revolving around the Clan's warrior-religion, known as "The Way". The Way was known as a path to spirituality through the process of mastering the arts martial. At a young age, the followers of The Way chose a martial school to follow and strive to master. Theros' brother chose to follow The Way of the Staff, Theros chose the Sword. The brothers, both male lions of the clan butt heads often. Their arguments were plenty, and their arguments were loud, at times aggressive. The Clan elders often sought to reconcile the brothers, but their efforts only brought temporary peace before the brothers would be at one another's necks once again. When he turned 15, he underwent the Trials of the Plains, as all members of the Clan did when they became of age. For the next 3 years, Theros wandered the plains alone, meditating upon and training his craft, relying on his natural instincts and the kindness of other Clans for sustenance when needed. He returned a changed man, and successfully passed a series of martial rites given to him by the Clan elders. His brother returned shortly after he. Many of the Clansmen thought that the trials would soothe the tension between the two brothers. His older brother eventually took the place of their father as the Clan leader, and Theros was to become his right hand. Theros and his brother continued to have disagreements long into their adult years. The tension between them growing until it reached the breaking point. One fateful day, Theros challenged his brother to a duel to decide the leadership of the clan. The fighting was fierce, but in the end, Theros was defeated, and cast out of the Clan into exile. Leaving the plains of Irith, Theros stepped into the world of man, where he slowly integrated himself into their society. Theros eventually found himself in Angel's Landing, where he worked for a time as a mercenary, guard, or any occupation that required a physical touch. Eventually, Theros wound up in the employ of the Knights of Star. Reason for recruitment: Theros joined the Knights of Star as a steady source of income for his needs. Strength of Will: Potent Magic:

Abjuration

Protection of The Way - A thin shell of magic that coats the user's body. This barrier shields the user and lessens the force of blows- though not completely. Alternatively, it can project a singular plane to stop blows like a typical barrier.
Healing of The Way - A simple spell that reduces fatigue in increases the rate at which wounds heal over time.
Mind of The Way - A spell that clears the user's mind and enhances the brain's processing speed, greatly enhancing the user's reaction time. This spell is rather tiring, and requires an hour of rest/minimal physical exertion per minute used.
Strength of The Way - A spell that increases the user's physical capabilities.

God relations: Theros worships no particular god. Instead, he follows the ideas of The Way, which is more akin to a type of lifestyle than religion. Tech:

Nanoweave Clothing - The clothing worn by the Clans from the Plains of Irith are often made of strong nanoweave fabricated by techniques and materials known only to them. This makes nanoweave a highly valuable commodity that the Clans often use as trade goods with the outside world. Nanoweave is quite flexible, but provides protection comparable to full plate armor.
Plasmatic Blade - A sword made of high tech metals and superior craftsmanship, this weapon projects an energy edge around the blade, providing the weapon with increased cutting power. For optimum performance, the leading edge, 'pointy end', should be applied to the enemy and thrust into vital regions. This should be repeated as necessary. The weapon's scabbard also serves as its capacitor for recharging.
Force Staff - A rather common mage and militia weapon. Force weapons are fairly easy to make and simple in function. The concept of the weapon revolves around its enchanted orb, and can be attached to a variety of platforms, from topping a staff, to the end of a mace, or cudgel. Upon impact, the orb releases a blast of kinetic energy in a manner that applies crushing or pushing damage on a target. The strength of the energy blast depends on the quality of the orb. Most common quality Force Weapons provide enough force to crack bones- though not necessarily through armor.
Possessions/items/property: Aside form his clothes and his weapons, Theros carries scant little else. He carries a satchel with which he places necessary supplies- water, food, etc, as well as tools for his weapon. Skills:

Swordsmanship - Theros is an adept swordsman, with traditional training stretching all the way back to his cub years. His recent decades in Angel's Landing has also familiarized him with many modern styles of swordsmanship, and Theros has combined several of the different styles he has learned into a single fluid style. He wields his staff in the same way as he wields a bladed weapon. He often serves as a swordplay instructor for many of the new recruits
Unarmed Combat - While never trained in hand to hand combat, given his size, speed, and strength are greater than that of an average human, he can usually handle himself in a fistfight.
Its late and I'm tired, so I'm going to have to clean the rest of this up tomorrow. Here is my character as is so far though.
