I mean in reply to that Fallenreaper was the one who said that they could/should be discovered later in life and fourteen was the minimum age I could make them while still maintaining the inexperienced feel I was going for with the character so obviously I was working off of false information once again...

I'll edit it further to try and fit and try and come up with some sort of war connection I guess? Beginning to feel a bit tossed about by the constant changes in info though but I guess it's understandable.
