Up in the top right next to your personal tabs, there should be a chat section. You can pop in there at any time to just chill and kill time, or, y'know, go there to ask questions. Most of the people in chat are friendly...but some aren't all that nice.

Azseth probably would've posted this, and he's probably the most helpful in chat aside from the moderators.

He also would tell you to make sure to write out and detail your bio, which you can find by clicking on your name in the top right.

As far as interests, it's really good to be open. Though I don't really know how popular NSFW is here, it can't be publicly displayed; meaning you'll have to RP it out in PMs or on another site.
