Just to be certain, he lifted the dented power pack out of its chest cavity and gave it a few good whacks with his metal bar. Better safe than sorry, after all. The ground shook, driving him to one knee, but safety was in sight, and anywhere that was within sight, he could be. He revelled in the warm sunlight, basking in it for the first time in weeks, when the PDA in his pocket went off again. The message and tone were infuriatingly condescending, but he held back his tongue from making a cutting remark back at the device. He owed this man his freedom, and so he could tolerate a little disrespect. Just how much would remain to be seen, but for now he was determined to be civil. Falcon approached the watercraft and hailed the butler, reaching out to shake his hand.
