[@Jon Y] so I'd like to iron out a few details with you. Currently, the gentleman who has the title of 'Captain of the Guard' in Waeldeshore is Davik Mitchell, played by myself as sort of a filler to help the story along. I'm not sure if the Lord-Marshal (mayor?) of Waeldeshore would be the type to kiss his officers on the cheek. In the time line, the war was about 5 years ago from this point in our story. As written, there are no 'nobles' within the town and Waeldeshore was the most established place through out the island. Which is what kept it so strong during the war and in years after. 

I have no problems if people were to integrate their story and make a canon character, building on the lore that I presented. I also love the idea of having a guard within the group. But we're going to have to tweak your character a bit for him to be playable.
