The actor was never the problem. I love Nathan Fillion to death -- almost obsesively -- but [i]the show[/i] isn't that good as you're making it out to be tbh. It's just like any other "citizen helps cops solve crimes"-type shows, like The Mentalist. Only difference is that Patrick Jane is a faux-psychic and Castle is a writer playing detective. But, I guess to each their own.
