[@McHaggis]
Gale Winchester & Cas Winchester Huskers Restaurant
~.~ As soon as Samael placed his hand in Cas's, the smile on the demons turned strained before disappearing altogether. Cas's demon aura flared up, only perceptible to other demons and angels; rising to the challenge of another demon infringing on his territory. He dropped Samael's hand like it was a burning coal, narrowed eyes boring into the other demon. At his side, Gale was looking back and forth between his brother and his crush, desperately hoping that Cas wasn't going to start something. He tried not to look too panicked as he didn't want to attract any attention and cause someone to intervene. Gale winced when his brother turned burning blue onto him and gave him a look that clearly spoke of interrogation soon to come. That or Cas was going to rant at him and how bad an idea this was. "Gale, take a walk outside with me?" It was posed as a question but Cas's eyes clearly said that saying no wasn't an option at this point. "Will you excuse us Sammy? Great, thanks." Before Gale could sputter out how rude Cas was being, the demon had already grabbed the angel by the arm and bodily dragged him from the restaurant. ~.~ Evening had fallen over New Orleans and the chill in the air had increased, causing Gale to shiver as soon as he stepped outside. Cas glanced around at the busy street before nudging Gale into the alleyway beside Husker's, away from prying eyes and listening ears. Gale wrapped his arms around himself as Cas paced back and forth in front of him. The angel didn't have to speak, it was only a matter of time before Cas blew. True to form, Cas whirled on Gale. "What in the hell are you thinking?" He hissed, trying to keep his voice down so as to not attract any attention. "He's a demon Gale, the complete opposite of you. I know what my kind do and they aren't known for being best friends with angels! Do you how dangerous his is to you? What he could do?" Gale sighed and let his arms drop to his side. He knew he needed to calm his brother down before he flew into a rage and couldn't be stopped. "You don't even know him Cas. What if he isn't like that? Not all demons are cut from the same cloth. Some of them aren't the most terrible thing to walk the planet. You are living proof of that." A pained expression crossed Cas's face. Oh how little Gale knew. Cas never told his brother what he had went through in Hell, what he had to do just to save himself. No, Cas was as bad as the rest of his kind. Cas pushed the painful memories away and took a deep breath. "I want you to stay away from him, he could hurt you." He demanded in his 'nothing you say can change my mind' voice. He really shouldn't have though because it fanned Gale's own angry and the angel balled his delicate hands into fists, crossing his arms tightly over his chest as he scowled up at his brother. "What about Michael? Did you stay away from him?" In his anger, Gale knew he had struck a low blow but he was just too frustrated to care. He would definitely regret it later though, when has had time to think about his actions. Cas's eyes dropped to the ground and he seemed to withdraw in on himself. "That's different and you know it." Gale pushed a breath out of his lungs. "You have no say in who I can see Cas. Give Samael a chance like I gave Michael a chance." With that the angel turned and disappeared back inside, leaving Cas leaning against the wall of the alley with his face buried in his hands. "Yeah and look how well that turned out." Cas muttered to the empty air. He rubbed a hand roughly over his face, really wishing he had a cigarette or something but he had run out over the weekend and hadn't bought anymore. ~.~ Gale leaned against the door for a moment, taking a deep breath and collecting himself. He ran a hand through his hair, making it even messier before making his way back over to Samael. He gave the demon a small smile. "Sorry about that. Cas can be a bit...protective sometimes. Anyway, shall we find a seat?" He may be smiling but the look in his eyes said he didn't want to talk about his brother anymore and hoped Samael wouldn't bring him up.
