No sooner had she finished speaking that Adelisa and Jareth walked back into the room. A shadow of whatever she was feeling before vanished from Dela's face as soon as she locked eyes with Lila, being replaced for something similar to guilt. Had Lila's thoughts been so obvious? It was a trait of Delilah's to let her every emotion show clearly on her face, whenever it be bad or good, so it wouldn't come as news to her if she'd been as easy to read as a book. To Lila's great suprise, Dela was brave enough to take the seat next to her. "Can I talk to you outside later?" Dela asked her gently. Lila turned to face her, trying her hardest to make herself expressionless. "I plan to be on my way home later, so the sooner the better." She stood up and walked to the door, throwing the empty Starbucks cup in the trash and stopping at the doorway to give Adelisa a questioning look, hand on her hip.
