[@Natsu] It depends, really.  The kind of magic expressed through song depends on the musician.  Some musicians can heighten emotions, some musicians can do more physical effects.  The healing and combat musicians, however, are the rarest, and have it the hardest.

Also, if there are no instruments/sound systems nearby, highly-trained sonomancers can create music out of nothing.
