Naoko Kuma- Naoko looked at Taidan and gave him a sly smile. "If you say so T." He had a tendency of calling his teammates the first letter of their names. Just a little quirk he had. Then, without warning, Naoko went for Taidan. He attacked with his right fist with a single spear strike. Hopefully, creating a smaller surface area would make it more difficult for Taidan to focus his aura to reflect the attack. Although, if he could, Naoko would sure as hell squeeze every bit of information that allowed his partner to deflect the attack.
Shuai Taidan - Aura Control Class What was aura? The lifeblood of all beings, the power of the soul that every creature but the terrible Grimm possessed within them? For all that humanity relied upon it, there was so much that they had yet to learn, so much that waited out there for them to delve deep into. The amount of potential knowledge was so vast, but in the end, here, at this very moment, Taidan cared little for what the mysteries of aura could offer him except for what pertained to his current interest. That was, of course, blocking Naoko's attack. Aura always seemed as if it could do anything, a powerful form of energy that could be manipulated by people for all sorts of purposes. But there were limits; it was the power of the soul after all, and so it would be the owner of that soul who would decide what their aura could do. A relaxed dude and dudette would have a pretty flowing, untouchable type of aura, and they'd probably wouldn't have a hard, rocky wall of immense defensive power that maybe a stubborn workaholic cop could utilise. He himself, as a cute, fiery guy, wouldn't have had any of that. He was fiesty, energetic, burning like the sun that gave them all life! Even as he breathed and cycled his aura around his body, he could feel the sparks, the crescendo of heat and fun in his blood that was so utterly him. Though that did bring into question the matter of how static his soul was. What if he, the ancestors forbid, became a boring, lazy husk of a person? Besides being yuck and horrifying, what would it do to his aura? It did stem from his soul after all, but how malleable was the soul by the stuff he did in life? How much of his personality was influenced by it? Where did nature end and nurture begin? Was he always going to be such a cuddly guy? Would he one day no longer be the raging firestorm? His aura spiked, energy seemingly rolling of him in waves as he met Naoko's attack with a finger. The fire in his blood screamed, rushing towards that single point and condensing into a visible, golden-orange glow. This was Taidan's soul. A scorching power that found Naoko's fist exactly.
