Also, a bit of info about the teachers.  There are teachers for each of the most well-known specializations, and teachers for information that's common to all specializations.  Benedict, my character, teaches beginning Influence sonomancy; there are also teachers for intermediate, expert, and advanced difficulties in all well-known specializations.

(Bit of misc. info, Janet just graduated from intermediate into expert Combat sonomancy, and can only occasionally create music without something to channel it through.)
