[@floodtalon] Azrael was slightly unnerved by the spectacle Chen had made of himself, why had he seemed in such pain? He positively jumped out of his own skin when Kenney had fired into the air. He'd never heard such a loud sound outside of thunder and the roar of a dragon! Once his heart had resumed its normal pace, he noticed Chen approaching him. Oddly enough, the boy's eyes seemed to be a different color as well. "What magic would do that?" Azrael thought to himself. He stood when Chen stopped and said that he would enjoy fighting Azrael! What could make the students so hostile? The boy wasn't sure if the challenge was made in malice or competitive spirit so he answered. "Well yes, I did on request from my Masters and my own wishes... but why do we have to fight?.. Chen, right? I hope that we can be friends, since I see only strangers." Azrael took a step forward, bridging the gap between the two enough to offer his hand for a greeting. Commune with the Spirits had always taught him manners and respect, yet this boy made his hackles rise like a rabid mountain lion would. Chen thirsted for combat and Azrael could practically smell it. Yet, a want for confrontation meant he was sure of his abilities and therefore more powerful than the usual student. Az could learn from such a person.
