And I had another sad thought...
[hider=More feels]Imagine what would happen if the military did come and Mars wasn't corrupted. The General turns on Mars and the other gems after the attack. Candice stands up for Mars "NO! You promised! You promised you would leave him alone!!!" The General strikes Candice, knocking her to the ground and tells her to remember her place. Candice is considered a traitor to the friends she had made.
After many battles, Candice freeing the gems, aiding them in their plight, and destroying the military's new base, Candice takes a bullet from the General, and lays dying in Mars' arms[/hider]
